Bylines
Articles identify the person responsible for the work and link to a public profile. Profiles describe relevant subject areas, working method, experience, and verifiable credentials when available.
Credentials and expertise
We do not invent degrees, certifications, employment, or professional status. A topic label describes an area the author covers; it is not automatically a regulated credential. Credential records should identify the credential, issuer, date where useful, and a verification link when one exists.
Review attribution
“Reviewed by” and “fact checked by” appear only when that work was completed and recorded. Reviewers must be approved for the relevant topic. A byline alone is not evidence of independent review.
Conflicts and disclosures
Authors and reviewers should disclose a relationship that could reasonably affect a reader's interpretation of the work. Relevant disclosures appear on the profile or article.
