AI tools may assist with research organization, outlines, drafting, editing suggestions, metadata, or image ideation. They do not become the accountable author, reviewer, or fact checker.
Human responsibility
A human remains responsible for the article's claims, sources, relevance, copyright compliance, and final publication decision. AI output is treated as unverified until checked against reliable evidence.
Disclosure
When AI materially assists an article, the article includes a plain-language disclosure. Routine spelling or formatting assistance does not normally require a prominent disclosure. AI assistance never replaces the additional review required for healthcare, finance, security, or other high-impact topics.
Prohibited use
We do not knowingly publish fabricated quotations, fake credentials, invented first-hand experience, or synthetic evidence. Automation must not be used to conceal sponsorship or impersonate an expert.
